6 months is a Long time

This was the title of the last post I did on this site and it should now read 6 years is  long time. For a variety of reasons, now lost in the mists of times but not unconnected to arsey comments, I stopped recounting our adventures and I'm very sorry that I did as reading it back brings up memories long forgotten and I now have to live with 6 years of blank canvases. So I'm going to start it again and I shall begin by itemising all (or perhaps most of ) the trips we have made since leaving Le Bacares in September 2017. This may take some time.

05.10.17  Left Le Bacares. Slowish journey via Villeneuve s/Lot and home 12.10.17                                    12.10.17 Up to Blackpool with usual suspects to visit as many Wetherspoons as we could find . In November we had our Golden Wedding do in Southsea, had a cracking Anniversary weekend in Bath and then went on a cruise to the Caribbean

2018.No trip to Spain. Stayed home until March for reasons that completely escape me now but it must  have been that F was having some tests etc.

April/May....Hebden Bridge and the Lake district and then Devizes with the usual suspects.

June 2018 Down through France to Alsace and then to Annecy for 2 weeks where we spent many happy hours cycling on the brilliant cycle paths. Home via Burgundy and a pleasant stop at Vichy to take the waters.

August/September 2018. Up to Edinburgh and a THS for the Festival . 5 days of Fringe shows incl. Andy Salzman and Gyles Brandreth. Then the North Coast 500 and a visit to Skye, back home via York & Cromer. October to Southport with the usual suspects  and then we left for Spain by ferry to Bilbao on 28 November arriving at Conil on 1 December
